Help your community with Breakthrough Options For Families, Inc.
We understand that these are tough times we are living in, but we at Breakthrough still stay hopeful that there are residents, corporations, and organizations within our local community that still care about our poorest families, who are impoverished with little or no family support at all.
In the current dire economic climate with a growing demand for social services, the goal of Breakthrough Options for Families is to expand our scope in order to provide more help to more families in the greater Norwalk area.
As Thanksgiving and Christmas day draw near, we are getting more and more requests now than ever for basic need items such as paper towel, toilet paper, kleenex, sanitary napkins, deodorant, assorted sized garbage bags, rakes, shovels, ice melt, bus passes, cleaning products, bar soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, hand sanitizer, lotion, pampers, socks, gloves, hats, boots for their children, all of the dire necessities to keep themselves and their houses clean that food stamps do not cover (for those that are eligible to receive food stamps).
Please think about us the next time you pick up any of these items from the grocery store and donate to us. Please also consider doing a holiday project with your loved ones, co-workers, or your fellow brethren of a local fraternal organization, that supports single parent families in poverty by collecting any of the above mentioned items and donating them to our agency. All donations are tax-deductible under the 501 (c) 3 Federal Code.
Please call 203-981-2000 to find out how you can help or visit www.boffusa.org to make a donation to this particular cause online.
Happy Holidays to the City of Norwalk, Connecticut!
